Flexural Behavior of Reinforced Concrete Beams Retrofitted with Modularized Steel Plates

چکیده
Many structural retrofitting methods tend to only focus on how improve the strength and ductility of members. It is necessary for developing strategy consider not upgrading capacity but also achieving rapid economical construction. In this paper, a new details technique proposed constructability reinforced concrete beams. The components are prefabricated, quickly assembled using bolts chemical anchors site. modularized steel plates have been chosen based finite element analysis. To evaluate performance beams retrofitted with details, five without were tested. method significantly increased both maximum load test results showed that flexural existing by 3 times, 2.5 energy dissipation 7 times.
